Drive with Naijapacks: A Guide to Becoming a Driver

Naijapacks Team · September 18, 2026

Naijapacks drivers pick up hot food from home kitchens and get it to customers who are craving it. You set your own hours, drive when it works for you, and get paid per delivery — no shift schedule, no manager standing over you.

Here's what you'll need to open a driver account.

A government-issued ID. Passport, state ID, or driver's license.

A valid driver's license. Front and back of your active license.

Proof of auto insurance. Your insurance card or declarations page, in your name.

Vehicle registration. Current registration that matches the vehicle you'll actually drive.

A W-9. Required for US tax reporting on your delivery payouts.

Background-check authorization. A signed authorization so we can run a background check through our provider, Checkr. This is standard for any delivery platform, and it keeps customers and caterers safe.

Once your documents are submitted and reviewed, you're live. Deliveries come to you automatically — we offer each order to the closest available driver, and you accept or decline based on what works for you. Pay is per delivery, based on distance, and shows up in your driver dashboard on a regular payout schedule.

However much time you have — a few hours after work, a weekend, every day — it's yours to use.
